5 Examples of the Fragment T-Shirt from my Test Knitters
Who else loves browsing through a pattern's project gallery on Ravelry?
I find it so helpful to see the pattern in a variety of colours and yarns on different people. It allows me to imagine how the finished garment would look on me.
That's why I am sharing a selection of the Fragment t-shirts that my test knitters made with you.
I hope that it inspires you to make your own!
Test Knitting the Fragment T-Shirt
Sari
Size: 40
Yarn: Garnstudio DROPS Belle in Natural
What she liked about the pattern: The pattern was just complicated enough to keep me interested but still easy enough to watch TV at the same time.
Christine
Size: 38
Yarn: Quince & Co Sparrow in Pink Grapefruit
What she liked about the pattern: It's very addictive but at the same time straight forward and easy to remember. And it looks amazing !!
Rachel
Size: 44
Yarn: Quince & Co Sparrow in Fen
What she liked about the pattern: The repeats made it addictive! I had a lot of firsts with this project! It was my first time using short rows, Judy's magic cast on, tubular hems, and most importantly it was my first time using linen!
Pat
Size: 46
Yarn: Quince & Co Sparrow in Juniper
What she liked about the pattern: A wonderful blend of simplicity and sophistication! This is a very addictive stitch pattern that knits up quickly. And if you’re afraid of seaming, don’t be! The grid pattern in Fragment makes a great guide for matching pieces together with ease.
Agnes
Size: 42
Yarn: Katia Lino in Blue and Silver
What she liked about the pattern: It was a challenging pattern and it made me a better knitter. I learned new techniques.
Don't their t-shirts look beautiful? I feel like I should be knitting several more in a variety of colours. Thanks again to my lovely team of test knitters for this pattern - it has been quite the journey!
